Our efforts focus on grassroots intervention, providing crucial support in education, health, and overall survival for backward individuals and their families. Committed to upholding human rights, we strive to address crises and break the cycle of poverty, fostering equality in society.
Educational Development
Education is a fundamental human need and right, a crucial tool to dispel the shadows of illiteracy, poverty, and unemployment. Recognizing its significance, we offer financial assistance to underprivileged students facing challenges in affording or sustaining their studies. We also distribute educational stationery materials to inspire their academic dedication and alleviate hurdles on their educational journey, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to overcome obstacles and pursue learning.
Financial Support to Health
In rural areas of Maharashtra, the majority of people from downtrodden backgrounds lack access to quality healthcare due to financial constraints. In response, we visit and extend financial support to those facing illness. This humble effort aims to make a positive impact on their lives and ensure their health. Their recovery becomes our source of strength and growth. Till date, we have provided financial support to over 100 needy people. Their blessings and appreciation for our assistance bring immense joy, fueling our commitment to making a meaningful difference in their well-being.
Disaster Relief
A friend in need is a friend indeed. At Jivan Vikas Seva Sangh, we are committed to giving back to society and staying active in responding to crises caused by natural disasters. In 2005, Maharashtra was badly affected by floods. Many people lost their roofs as their houses completely collapsed. Though our resources were limited, we collaborated with the Ramakrishna Mission to reconstruct 43 houses. Not only that, but we also worked across Chiplun, providing people with sufficient essentials for survival whenever disaster struck.

Sports Development
Besides education, we also prioritize sports development, as it keeps our health fit and fine. At Jivan Vikas Seva Sangh, we are offering affordable training in sports including Judo and Karate for self-defence. Our dedicated and experienced mentors guide students to unleash their potential. We also provide financial support to deserving students who can’t afford training expenses or necessary equipment. Through these efforts, we aim to empower individuals not only academically but also physically, fostering well-rounded development for a brighter future.
